AOB AND BELISSIMA AT THE ASTRONOMICAL OLYMPIAD

The Greek town Volos  in Thessaly, will host from July 27 to August 5, 2013 the VII International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics. 
This is a competition for high school pupils aged between 15 and 20. This year the highest number of teams is expected: 41 teams from
36 countries from all continents (some countries have two teams) will arrive to Volos. The number of competitors per team is limited to five
and the number of team leaders is limited to two. The Serbian team will be made of five competitors from Mathematical Gymnasium
from Belgrade (born: 1994-1996). The leaders of the Serbian team are Dr. Slobodan Ninković (member of the AOB staff)
and Dr. Sonja Vidojević. Dr. Ninković will give the printed copies of the AOB/BELISSIMA brochure to all the leaders of the teams
at the Olympiad: thus the colleagues from abroad will learn about the activities in astronomy/astrophysics in Serbia and the possibilities of collaboration.
